An Exit Plan for Iraq
The Bush Administration has been unwilling or unable
to issue an exit plan for the U.S. forces in Iraq.
This uncertainty of planning is undercutting our
mission and our military performance in-country.
To force the issue, Congress should place a
requirement into the FY2007 budget. They should
require the Bush Administration either to issue an
exit plan (through the Department of Defense) or to
institute a military draft no later than March 31,
2007.
